Pastor Eugene J. Farley Sr. was born in Memphis, TN, he attended Crawfordsville High School in Crawfordsville, AR. His education was at Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, AR, East Arkansas Community School of Religion in Earl, AR & U-CAN University, West Memphis, AR.
He is married to Mrs. Patricia Ann Farley and the father of three children; Ashera Mitchell, E. J. Jr. & Gabrielle Farley. Proud grandfather to two granddaughters; Genesis Farley & Ma’Zyia Mitchell.
He held the office of Assistant Dean of the State Congress of Christian Education from1990-2009. He is the founder and President of United Christian Achievement Network (U-CAN), it is a ministry Of Reconciliation Designed to equip, encourage, and empower African-American Families. He was president of U-CAN Bible Institute; an accredited Christian School for Ministers and Laymen from 1955-2002.
A board Member of Client’s Rights Advocacy Pathfinders Inc. Member of the National Black Evangelical Association (N.B.E.A.), and held office as Co-Chairman of the Local Committee for N.B.E.A. at Memphis Conference 1994. Moderator of the Tyronza District Baptist Association 1995-2002. The Creator and Host of Family Affair – A Radio Ministry designed To encourage, equip and empower African-American Families. He is the proud pastor of the New Olive Branch Baptist, El Dorado, AR.
Upon his arrival to New Olive Branch in 2002, he began working to help the community to grow. Under his leadership; he helped with the rebuilding of our church after the other church burned. His motto for our church and Community is “Help, Hope & Healing”. He is a dynamic teacher of God’s Word; his vision is Unity in our church by developing God’s people to be Disciples making Disciples for Christ and his Kingdom building.
