Luke 8:4-15

  • Spectators: just want to be seen or show off.

  • Feeders: some come to feed off of God’s word.

  • What did you come out for this morning?

  • Jesus spoke the parable to address the hearts of those who speak God’s word.

  • What is the seed? The word of God.

  • What is the ground? Man’s heart

  • Romans 10:13-15

  • Where does the seed fall in your heart when you hear the word? Romans 3:23

  • What does this mean? Luke 8:10-12

  • God will show the ones who open their hearts and minds to Him.

  • Which location where the seeds fell describes us? Luke 8:13-15

  • Do we still feel the same about the Lord when we first believed?

  • We must ask God to help guide us through His Holy Spirit.

  • What fruit are we bearing?

  • How can you tell an apple tree from a orange tree? By their fruit.

  • How can you tell a Christian from a Non-Christian? By their fruit.

  • Introspection: Ask God to reveal areas of improvement.

  • Psalms 1:1-2 and 119:9

  • God is able!
